Avon Area AGM - 16 February 2019
Redland Green Bowling Club, Redland Green Road, BRISTOL BS6 7HE
The club has a small car park, and there is free on-street parking on Saturdays.
10.00 am Pre AGM Walk
A moderate five-mile circular walk from Redland Bowling Club, exploring parts of West
Bristol, including Sneyd Park. Footpaths and tracks over open grassland and through
woodland, plus pavement walking.
12.30 – 1.30 pm Buffet Lunch
1.30 – 3.15 pm (approx) AGM, including talks by:
Jack Cornish, Programme Manager for Don’t Lose Your Way
Jack will talk about how to identify historic rights of way, and how to ensure they are saved,
if they are not yet on the definitive map for your area.
Peter Carr, Ramblers Trustee
Peter will update us on other Ramblers projects.
The out-going area post-holders will present a report of last year’s activities, (including the
annual accounts), for approval of the membership. After the AGM adopts the report,
current post-holders will resign, and post-holders for 2019/20 will be elected. Any Avon
Ramblers member can stand for any post.
