Ron Phelps receives Ramblers award
The Ramblers is Britain's biggest charity working to promote walking. It is organised into Areas and Groups.
Avon Area covers the majority of the former County of Avon. We have eight groups which organise regular walks, social activities and footpath maintenance and improvement work:
You are welcome to come along on two or three walks before joining the Ramblers - please see the websites for the separate groups or you can use the walks menu to either see all upcoming walks or use the walks finder tool to filter walks using various options (Brunel's walks are not included).
Our members also contribute to the Wessex Wanderer Railway Walks from stations along the Bristol to Weymouth line.
Note: walks added or updated in the last week are marked as "new".
